In early January, my dad and I took Molly and Ella to the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg, which is our annual tradition. Last year Molly came in utero, but this year got to enjoy it for the first time in person. Both girls had a great time -- Molly loved the shuttle bus ride (her first) and seeing all of the "dogs" at the show (all of the animals were "dogs" to her--she kept making 'uff, uff" sounds when she saw the animals) and Ella loved her french fries and milk shake, petting the bunnies, and seeing the baby chicks. My camera battery finished early in the trip, but here are a few pictures I took in the beginning:
Molly standing and checking out the view on the bus
watching the driver
Ella on a 4 wheeler
petting a sheep
Milking a cow is hard work!
bunny petting!
Ella was concerned that the bunnies would "hop off the table and get hurt."
Molly's turn to pet the bunnies
Looks like the girl's ahd a great time at the Farm Show. I remember when we took are boys. The weather I don't think was that bad this year. The girls really liked the animals.
