Pull-Up Bar

My parents got Rob a "pull-up bar" as one of his Christmas gifts this year. It hangs onto the frame of any door and can be moved around easily. Ella enjoys counting for Rob when he does his pull-ups and she cheers for him by yelling, "Go, Daddy!" He used to love it when she hadn't mastered counting to 10, yet, since she would count his pull-ups like this, "one, free (three), ten!" Now that she can count accurately, it takes a lot more effort on Rob's part to do ten pull-ups!

Now, whenever we are someone where we see a bar, Ella calls it "daddy's pull-up bar." She uses one at the playground. She also does pull-ups by squeezing between the toilet and bathtub and pulling her legs up. Her newest find was in Rob's bathroom which has a low towel rack next to the shower. She wedged herself between the toilet and the rack and did some more pull-ups. This girl is going to build some muscle! Guess she's getting in shape for swimsuit season...hmmm...can I fit between the toilet and tub??
