Pennypack Park with Friends

Right before school started, my friend, Jennie, and I took the kids to Pennypack Park to "hike" and play in the creek together before having a picnic lunch.  Jennie and I met when her son, Zene, and Ella were just a couple of months old.  We hung out at least once a week for our playgroup for several years so it was amazing to see them together at Pennypack realizing that they would both be starting kindergarten the following week---how time flies!  I am grateful for the friendships that we have made with Jennie and her family.

I love how neat those roots look

Molly discovered a "grabbing" tool and thought it was fun to use to try to grab rocks
