This past weekend we were very lucky to not have been negatively affected by Hurricane Irene like so many other people on the East Coast were. Somehow, we didn't even lose power, which we always do (and often for several days) in small storms. We were prepared for the worst--with lots of bottled water, flashlights, snacks, and ice. We spent the weekend playing together, baking cookies, reading books, playing computer games, and walking outside. Here are a few pictures from our weekend:

Molly enjoys playing with toys from her special bin.
family game time---Sorry!
Notice Molly in the background
I thought Molly might be crawling all over our game board, but, instead, she was content to crawl over to the door and watch the storm roll in. She was fascinated by the blowing trees.
Guess who won the game?
crawling over to make some music on her new piano

ReplyDeleteI agree with Ella...the cookies look yummy and I too love the pink dress.....and I loved that picture of Molly watching the rain in the puddles! So cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful Sugar Cookies. Ella did such a great job (she is like suzy homemaker). I am so glad Ella won the game. Love those pictures of Molly looking at the door at the weather and her crawling around. The last picture of Ella looks just like you. I truly enjoy looking and seeing the family grow.
