Molly - 1 month old

On Friday, March 18th, Molly turned 1 month old. We cannot believe that barely four weeks ago, we didn't even know if the baby in my belly was a boy or girl. Now we can't imagine what life would be like without Molly here with us.

She had her checkup the day before her 1 month birthday and here are her stats:
Weight: 11 lbs., 4.5 oz. (was 9 lbs., 10 oz. at birth)---95th percentile
Length: 21 1/4 inches
She is wearing size 1 diapers (although at 12 lbs. she can wear size 2 already) and mostly size 3-6 month clothes (with sleeves rolled).

Molly is doing well sleeping at night (she sleeps mostly 4 hour stretches, eats, and then falls back asleep in her crib....two nights recently, she treated me to a 7 hour stretch! woohoo!) She has been having longer awake times during the day and likes looking around (especially out the window, at the ceiling fan, at a collage frame of flower photos in our room, and at her big sister, Ella). At this point, Molly is a content baby who rarely cries and almost never screams (both of which we hope she keeps up).

The following pictures were taken on her 1 month birthday---a 78 degree day! She went to her first car wash and visited Philadelphia for the first time (eating and sleeping at Rittenhouse Square, visiting with Buck and Wu, meeting Daddy's co-workers, and dining at Max Brenner).

Molly is sure growing. Love the pictures and how alert she is. From her check-up Mommy must be feeding her good.
