Ella has a great sense of humor (I think she gets it from Rob) and her personality has really been shining lately. She says some things that make us laugh all of the time.
Rob: That is filthy.
Ella: What does filthy mean?
Rob: It means really dirty.
Ella: Is filthy Spanish for dirty?
Rob: Let's go to the park after we eat our lunch.
Ella: haha! No way! We can't go to the park, Daddy! Dogs go to the park...people go to the playground.
Ella: Mommy, Daddy isn't following the rules---he came into the house with his snowboots on and didn't take them off at the front door. Now he is making big snow prints all over the house!
Rob to me: Ella can't have her dessert, yet. She has to finish her banana.
Ella to Rob: Daddy, don't say that. Mommy said we can't be tattletales.
Ella: Mommy, I thought you were saying college cheese, not cottage cheese!
She's said a lot more funny things, but, of course, I can't remember them as I am typing right now. I'll have to add more later.
What do you expect, Ella is a very bright little girl that has wonderful parents that really teach her well. I do love these saying. As they say, kids say the darnest things.
