Ella's First Camping Trip

A few days before her birthday, Pappy came down to visit for Ella's doctor's appointment and they went camping together....camping in our backyard. Pappy has been wanting to take Ella camping so we figured the backyard would be the best first step.

She was very excited about camping outside in a tent with Pappy and loved helping him carry the gear out from his car and set it all up. They gathered up their flashlights, drinks, and books and kissed me good night. I bet Rob that they would be back in the house within 15 minutes after Ella decided that she wanted to sleep inside....but, the flashlights went out and we didn't hear from them until the next morning!

Ella loved her camping trip with Pappy and looks forward to another one, maybe at Pappy's house next time!
