Ella: Mommy, I am really proud of you.
Me: Thanks! Why?
Ella: Because you did a really good job buying all of our groceries!
(In the house at night)
Ella: Shhh! I hear something uh-sterious.
Rob: What?
Me: Do you mean mysterious?
Ella: Yep. Shhh...something mysterious is making a strange noise around here.
(Getting ready to leave the house)
Me: Ella, please put your puzzle pieces back in the box before we leave.
Ella: Oh, no thank you, Mommy. You can do it. I am doing an important job over here and I'm too busy to clean up.
Me: What are you doing?
Ella: Watching George!
(Leaving a nearly 2-hour mortgage meeting)
Rob: Ella, you did a great job being quiet and patient during the meeting. We are so proud of you.
Ella: Thanks, Daddy. That place was so much fun! Next time Pappy comes to my house, I am going to let him come with me if he's good. He'll love it here!
(Saying good night at bedtime)
Ella: Daddy, don't be too curious or you won't get any Christmas presents, okay?

I cannot believe how much she looks like you. Just so beautiful. Those big blue eyes like her Pappy. Ella is really very smart. She takes after her Daddy and Mommy. Love the picture. Jennifer you know how to put a smile on my face. I always look everyday for you blogs to come.
