Holiday Monday

Rob was off on Monday for the 4th of July and it was going to be close to 100 degrees! We didn't want to be outside, nor did we want to waste a day inside with the a/c on, so we decided to go to Belmar, NJ to the beach instead where we could cool off in the water.

The beach was packed and the sand was scorching, but the water felt wonderful. We spent the entire day down in the waves, with the exception of time on our blanket for lunch. Ella loved the water (now that she is an expert from our OC trip last week) and was splashing around, making hand prints and foot prints, drawing in the wet sand, and doing gymnastics near the waves.
