This is also the new thing she does with her mouth that is kind of like a little shy smile with pursed lips
(Ella's words are in italics and mine are in regular font)
Ella, do you want to come over here and look at this book with me?
No, Mommy---you're too spicy!
Mommy, come work at Franconi's with me.
(Ella has a new pizza set from Pappy and Baba and she likes to pretend that we are working at the local pizza shop)
Hi, welcome to Franconi's. My name is Jennifer Lynn Gould, what's your name?
Hi, there! My name is Ella Renee Gould and this is my friend, Pinkie Renee Gould. Can we have pizza with that spicy meat--macaroni?
Do you mean pepperoni?
Yep!
Ella, where do you live?
I live at *************, Pennsylvania.
Who else lives with you?
You do!
Where does Daddy live?
Work.
Well, sometimes he probably feels like that!
What are you washing with, Ella?
I'm using soap and my wash closh!
What is that monkey's name?
Goney. George's new puppy is Kunkie.
Tell Daddy what Donna's guinea pigs are called?
Blackie and...Kinkey.
What is that boy's name?
Joseph.
No, it's not Joseph! Joseph is with Mary and Jesus!
Baby Jesus doesn't like to drink juice.
What does he drink?
He drinks milk from Mary's boobies.
Who told you that?
Daddy did! (He denies this)
How old is Daddy?
29.
How old am I?
You're 2! Just like me!
At nap time:
Have a good nap. I love you.
Okay, you go downstairs, Mommy, and wait for Daddy to come home from work.
At bed time:
Sleep tight. I love you.
Love you! You go downstairs and cook with with a spoon when Daddy works on the computer.
My ear is itchy. Oh, it's just ear wack (wax).
Later that day....My knee has an itch---it's knee wack (wax).
The many faces of Ella...Lately she has been less than enthused when I take her picture, but the other day she enjoyed making faces for me:

I just love all those sentences that Ella has put together. I especially liked the one with Jesus and Mary. Ella is so smart! All the pictures are great. Ella truly looks like her Mommy. The one picture I saw with Ella with her tongue on the side reminds me of my Grandmother. That would be Ella Great-Great Grandmother. She truly was a wonderful Grandmother to all her Grandchildren. I know I say this often but Ella is so lucky to have such a wonderful father and mother. "Both of you are really great as parents".
