She enjoyed picking the pumpkins up in the patch and carrying them around. She kept throwing (I mean, putting) ones down and searching for "a better one." Then once her pumpkin was chosen, she liked digging around in the dirt searching for stones and rocks.
On the hayride back, Rob and I were talking about how she cried the whole time last year--what a difference a year makes. Ella overheard us and kept asking, "What's wrong with Ella?" She didn't understand why she was crying last year. Then she said, "Ella no crying now. The hayride's fun, guys. Ella's not scared!"
Later, she and I went down the big slide and visited the baby animals.

couldn't get a front view of Ella on the hayride---she was too excited to "watch for the pumpkins!"

Love those pictures of Ella with all those pumpkins. "Boy she is really strong". Great family picture on the start of your hayride. Looks like Mommy enjoyed the slide as much as Ella did. Love the picture of the two of you on you ride back from your hunting and exploring the pumpkin patch. I guess Ella is going to take her Pumpkin home and carve it out, Right? Or is it one of those pumpkins fot make pumpkin bread and pumpkin pies for the Chef?
