A Visit to Kunkel
Today I was invited to come back to my old school (teaching), Kunkel, for a "Good Bye" ceremony for a local police officer (Officer Tom) who conducted the WISE Choices' program for our first grade students for many years. It was great to be back at school and for Ella to get to look around the building and in the classrooms. She wanted to "check email" on the computers, play with markers, sit on the kids' chairs, and identified the letter "e" on a poster.
I had a nice time talking with and catching up with my co-workers, even though the time was too short. Hopefully we can meet up over the summer, again.
