Making Tree Garland

This year, we made garland for our Christmas tree from Fruit Loops cereal and floral wire.  The girls (and I) had fun and it turned out to be easier, less messy, and more colorful than the traditional popcorn garland.  When our Christmas tree was taken down, we moved the garland outside to the holly tree by our front windows and got to enjoy watching the birds and squirrels eat the sweet treats!  I'll post pictures of how it looked on our Christmas tree when I finally get around to posting Christmas pictures

Using floral wire was great for her age because it stayed taut and was easier than yarn

The girls enjoyed finding the broken cereal pieces because that meant they could eat them!

this kept them busy for a while!
