Molly's "Camp"

Molly attended a program at Briar Bush Nature Center for 2-4 year olds called "Magic Mornings."  Each one has a theme--the first was Numbers in Nature.  The kids listen to a story, do a musical activity, make a craft, eat snack, go on a nature walk, and get to touch some of the animals.

Molly calls it "camp" because Ella went to a camp program there over the summer and she is excited that this time she gets to go now.  Here are a few pictures from the first one a few weeks ago:

big smile and ready to go!

wearing her backpack to "camp" with Ratty sticking his tail out of the back
(Ratty is a rat stuffed animal that Rob got her in England--she loves him!)

 Look at me!

 watching the cockroaches carefully

trying to count all of the fish

being a butterfly coming out of her chrysalis

 finger painting a caterpillar

She volunteered to be the first one to hold the Madagascar Hissing Cockroach!

 flowers along the trail

 standing on a rock

leading the kids through the tunnel

 feeding the turtle some woodchips

 making a splash

 playing in the water
