Solebury Orchards

We've been waiting for a "cooler" day to go to Solebury Orchards in New Hope to go blueberry picking and today we got our wish---it was the perfect weather to head to the orchard and we were able to pick blueberries and blackberries, as well as enjoy the flower gardens and the yummy treats available in the farm store.  It was pretty ride through New Hope and the grounds were beautiful.  We enjoyed cider donuts and cider slushies while we were there, and are going to eat some fresh corn on the cob (grilled) and basil, tomato, and fresh mozzarella with homemade baguette, all from their farm, for dinner tonight.  I also broke down and bought the book, "Blueberries for Sal," for the girls to remember our first time blueberry picking as a family.

Wow! what a great day at Solebury Orchards you must have had. The girls looks like they had a great time. Ella, picking the berries and Molly tasting. Daddy looks like he was having a great time to with his two out of three favorite girls! Love all the pictures.
