We spent Christmas Eve Day with my family in Harrisburg this year. We enjoyed each others' company, played, ate a delicious meal (thanks, Madge!), and opened presents. We headed home that evening so the girls could wake up in their own house Christmas morning. Here are a few pictures from that day:
Baba and Pappy reading Ella a bedtime story
Rob opening his potty tape dispenser
Molly opening her new clothes
testing out her new piggy bank
looking at the coins
"What's in here?"
Molly unwrapping some of her presents
Ella opening one of her favorite presents--Go Fish
(I think we've played that game nearly every day since Christmas!)
pretending to be sleeping for Santa's arrival
Rob and Ella coloring together
Molly sitting in her own "MOLLY" chair
Ella drying dishes
(Can anyone see "Waldo" trying to sneak in the corner of this picture??)
putting away the utensils
some of Baba's goodies
a special picture gift for Pappy from his girls
Christmas Eve at Babba's and Pappy's house I know is truly special. What joy for grandparents. Grandchildren are the best. You can see how happy the girls are as well as the grandparents are for this special time of the year. Again, Christmas is so wonderful when there are little ones around.
