On Saturday, Rob put in our new flooring in our living room and dining room (aka: playroom) with help from my dad. When we moved into our house almost 4 years ago, we removed the old carpet which revealed old hardwood floors underneath. We knew that we wanted to have them redone and hoped that we would get to that task after our baby (Ella) was born. We kept putting it off (time, cost, etc) until we finally decided to go for laminate flooring that would be more cost effective and improve the look of the rooms.
My dad, having put in laminate in several rooms of their home, helped Rob with the project, while my mom played with the girls so I could get some needed chores done around the house. The guys did a great job and we LOVE how the new floors look. They are fresh and clean and make the rooms look so much bigger. They are also very easy to clean, which is a problem that I had with the old, worn floors (I am a little addicted to my new Swiffer broom--uh oh!) The original floors are still underneath and have not been nailed into, so we can always use that as a selling point if we decide to move. We are very grateful that we had assistance with putting the floors in and that we were able to afford something so pretty for our house.

Jennifer and Rob: The floors look lovely. Great job by great professionals, (Rob, Karl and Ella). The Supervisors were great to, (Marylou, Jennifer and Molly). I know you as a family will enjoy your new floors in your rooms.
