Build and Grow

On Saturday, we went to our second "Build and Grow" clinic at Lowe's. This is a great program that they have for kids to build wood projects with their parents. Lowe's provides all of the materials, including the project kit with kid-friendly directions and tools, and then then all participants get to take home an apron, certificate, goggles, and a special achievement patch. Ella loves to build things, so this is the perfect activity for her.

This time, Baba and Pappy were visiting for the weekend, so Pappy got to help Ella build a birdhouse that can be attached to the outside of a window. They both enjoyed the project since they like birds and they liked working together as buddies! Rob and Ella plan on painting the birdhouse and then we can attach it to the window in our playroom.

What a great finished product Ella! You should be very happy and of course you had your great helper Pappy. Love these pictures. I cannot believe how big Molly is getting.
