Fall weather (and feeling better) has me in the mood to do lots of cooking and baking lately and Ella is right beside me ready to help. We've made lasagna, chili, baked macaroni and cheese, applesauce, apple crisp, potato-leek soup, and chocolate chip scones, to name a few. Thankfully, Ella has been more willing to try new foods so she discovered that she likes the scones, which we call "triangles." Here are so pictures of her helping me to prepare them (we've made 2 batches already this week because they've been eaten so quickly. She told me on Tuesday, "Come on, Mommy. Let's get out the ingredients to make more chocolate chip triangles! We need flour and sugar and chocolate chips.")

"Look at me in my big apron!"
(We'll have to look for one in her size.)

Such a great helper Ella is. Ella will be a Master Chef just like her Mommy. Ella really looks like she enjoys every minute. Such cute faces. All of them are great but I must say, I love the fashionable one!!
