Train and Natural Science Museum

Last Sunday, we decided to take Ella on her first train ride into the city to go to the Natural Science Museum. She was very excited to ride the train "like Daddy does when he goes to work." She did well on the trip and enjoyed looking out the window with Rob as he pointed out things for her to find.

We walked from the station to the museum where they were having a special "Bug Fest" that weekend. The museum seems a little bit outdated and not very hands-on, but Ella did enjoy the dinosaurs, touching the insects, and making a bug box to collect bugs in.

We have this same pose when Ella was really little...I have to find that picture so I can put them next to each other to compare!

She said, "It's not scary, Daddy. Go ahead, give it a try, like me!"

  1. I love that picture of Ella and Rob waiting for the train, they look so serious. Ella with the dinosaur is truly exceptional. What can I say, the pictures are taken by an expert. Thanks for all the enjoyable pictures and captions.
