George's Day at Work

Last weekend, we couldn't find Ella's stuffed Curious George around the house. Monday morning, on Rob's way to work, he reached in his work bag and felt something soft....George had been curious and snuck into the bag.

Rob thought it would be fun for Ella if he pretended that George had come to work with him. So, he sent her four pictures and emails throughout the day telling what George was doing. She LOVED them and kept talking about them. When Rob told her George went to work, Ella said, "Oooo, George is a grown-up now--he went to work!"

This is George riding on the train and sitting like a good little monkey.


George was being a little too curious and he was trying on the mini-hockey helmet that Rob had on his desk. Get to work, George!


George started working by using the magnifying light to check drawings.


George ends the day by checking his important emails.

Rob is such a fun dad and I thought this was such a cute idea to do for Ella. She is so lucky to have him!
