On Wednesday, Ella and I went to
Briar Bush Nature Center to look at the animals and to walk in the woods. Ella enjoyed watching the turtles eat their lunch--"salad--lettuce, carrots, oranges, and strawberries," looking for the guinea pigs in their cages, watching the snake eat a mouse, and reading some nature books. Later, we went outside and walked along the trail to the bird watching cabin, where we didn't see many birds, but saw several squirrels. Ella liked using her walking stick that she borrowed from the center and also finding her own, which she brought home for Rob. We collected rocks and stones and also found a few crunchy leaves to walk through.

Nature Girl
You are giving Ella some phenomenal experiences at such a young age...you are the perfect mother and wife.
ReplyDeleteElla is so lucky to have such a wonderful Mother to get her involved with all nature. I truly believe that she has probably has the best Mommy and Daddy in the world. You can see how intense she is with all that she saw at the Briar Bush Nature Center. Jennifer, you really captured the snake having the mouse for lunch. What great pictures. I love all the pictures byt the one with the walking stick really shows that she is a Nature Girl.
