I went in to get Ella this morning when she woke up. Here's what happened:
Me: Good morning!
Ella: Good morning, Mommy. I was talking to Elmo Doll. I was telling him something.
Me: What did you tell him?
Ella: Why did the chicken sit on the eggs?
Me: Why?
Ella: Because there's no chairs! haha!
Did she just tell me a joke? I have no idea where she heard that, nor do I think she understood that she was telling a joke, but it was really funny, anyway. I am guessing she might have heard it on Elmo or Sesame Street.
