Today is Ella's 23 month birthday. It is crazy to think that in only one more month Ella will be turning 2 years old. She is full of personality and is always making us smile and laugh.
I'm going to wait to post a list of the new things that she is able to do until next month, but in the meantime, here are some conversations that we've been having around our house with her:
(While we're in the side yard playing together)
Ella: Uh, oh, Momma!
J: What's wrong?
E: I smell sompin (something) stinkie around here!
J : Where do you smell it?
E: Over there (pointing to trash cans). You get paper towel and clean it up?
(Rob calls Ella a 'little monkey' when she is climbing on the playground equipment...this conversation took place at church recently):
Rob: (whispering) Ella, no hanging on the bench in church.
E: Ella's a little monkey!.....(loudly)...Momma's a BIG monkey!!
ooo-ooo-ahh-ahh!
(At the pizza shop with Ella's 16 month old friend, Adam):
Ella: Come on, Adam. Your mommy's over there. Uh no touch that (pointing to an electrical outlet on the wall), that's dangerous!
(When we open the doors of our hot car):
Ella: Mommy, turn on the ed ucation (air conditioning)...it's too hot in there!
(When I am trying to carry a big bag of clothes...)
Ella: Whoa, momma...that's too heavy uh (for) you. I help you carry it!
Jennifer: This picture is just beautiful. You are a wonderful photographer. Of course Ella has such a wonderful personality and just so beautiful which I know I sound like I repeat myself all the time, but she would make a wonderful model. You should enter her in baby contest! I know she would win!
