On Wednesday, she took Pinkie (her stuffed monkey) and made him throw something across the room. She held him up to her face and said, "No, Pinkie, no! Don't throw things...it's not nice." Then she proceeded to take him to the bottom step and sat him down. "You have time-out Pinkie. Stay here." Then when she came back to get him, she said, "Say 'sorry,' Pinkie." (in a high-pitched Pinkie voice) "Sorry!"
On occasion she will even give herself time-outs, like in this picture below. "I go to time-out...I screamed 'NO!' "
Jennifer, you would ask me to come sit with you during your time outs and when I refused you asked me to bring you a book! So be prepared...Ella is as quick thinking as you were.
