Ella's 5th Birthday Party

We celebrated Ella's birthday a few days early with a party on Sunday at our house.  She decided on an "Under the Sea" theme, so we had lots of fun with food and activities centered around the sea.  Here are just a few pictures from the day.  Thanks to everyone who made her day special!

Hee-Horns!

On Saturday, my dad's best friend from college, Lance, came to visit us for the day with my dad as he's in PA for a week.  We had a good time catching up and the girls and Rob were able to meet him for the first time.  We are glad he could find time in his packed schedule to spend the day with us!

August Catch-Up

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks---we've been going to a few birthday parties, making "projects," picking and cooking with tomatoes, visiting the library, and just trying to stay cool and comfortable (although this weekend was wonderfully comfortable outside--a taste of Fall)!
